What is the platform for Agri-Environmental Climate Measures?

The Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) is organizing the Digital Tool Scoping Workshop on the 21st of February 2024 at the Institute in Müncheberg, Germany. We will present and discuss the NatApp, an information and documentation platform for agri-environmental climate measures (AECM).

The workshop is part of the EU’s Horizon Europe D4AgEcol project.

The D4AgEcol DTSW at ZALF will discuss the relationship between agroecology and digitalisation and explore usefulness and role of digital technologies in promoting agroecological farming. The workshop will specifically take a closer look at how documenting AECM and getting informed about it through the NatApp can contribute to agroecological principles.

The workshop day includes two parallel workshops, one for stakeholders and one for farmers. The work of the farmers’ group will work for forecasting of how popular the NatApp will become with farmers when the peak in popularity will be reached. The stakeholder workshop will examine the NatApp and its contribution to the 10 elements of agroecology as defined by the FAO. The day will start and end with joint presentations and discussions among all participants.
